Wife, mom of two, and a little awkward behind the camera
Hey, I'm Leah!
I know what it's like to feel uncomfortable having your picture taken, which is probably why I love helping other people realize they don't have to be models to have photos they actually love.
Photography has been part of my life since I was a kid, but after picking up my camera again in 2020, I rediscovered just how much I loved it. What started as picking up an old passion again eventually turned into a business in 2022. These days, I spend a lot of time photographing growing families, milestones, and all the in-between moments around Central Texas. I love creating beautiful images, but I also want you to actually have a good time while we're making them.
When I'm not shooting or editing (which, let's be honest, isn't often), you'll usually find me with my family, hanging out with my aussiedoodle Rocky, exploring somewhere new, or trying to convince my husband that our next vacation absolutely needs mountains and pizza (he's a beach guy - boo).
I love living in Central Texas. Give me a river in San Marcos, a trail in Wimberley or Dripping Springs, a lake in Austin, or pretty much any excuse to get out and explore, and I'm probably in. That love of the area is also a big part of why I enjoy being the admin behind Everything in Kyle (Official), the largest local community group for our city. It's given me an even bigger connection to the people and small businesses that make this area feel like home.
At the end of the day, my favorite photos aren't the perfectly posed ones (although, those are also great!). They're the laughter, the chaos, and the things you probably didn't even realize were happening. Those are the photos that end up meaning the most.
A little recognition along the way
It's pretty surreal to see something that started as a hobby turn into a business that's been recognized by my local community and beyond.
And I'm crossing my fingers for 2026. 🤞

Math genius, future actor, and the reason I know way too much about Roblox. Ok, yes - I play Roblox with him every night and I'm not ashamed.

Dance lover, and the sweetest little caregiver you'll ever meet. Ballet, tap, hip hop, acro, and this year she's adding jazz to the lineup.

Rocky
Named after the Rocky Mountains, with zero chill. He has the cutest way of laying down - basically a splooting squirrel stance. He's pretty much chaos with a fluffy face and ghost eyes.
