FAQ
This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?
No worries at all! Many of my clients are first-timers. I'll guide you every step of the way with prompts, posing, and plenty of reassurance. My goal is simple: beautiful photos and a stress-free experience.
Can you recommend any good locations?
Absolutely! I have a long list of favorite spots throughout Kyle, Buda, San Marcos, Wimberley, Austin, and beyond. Once you book, I'll send curated options with photos so you can choose a location that fits your vision.
How long will my session last?
Most sessions last up to one hour, while newborn and extended family sessions typically run 1–1.5 hours.
I keep sessions relaxed and flexible because some of the best moments happen in between the poses. There's no stopwatch—just enough time to create beautiful images while keeping the experience fun and stress-free.
What if the weather is bad on the day of an outdoor shoot?
Texas weather can be unpredictable (I may secretly have a degree in meteorology 😜). I watch multiple forecasts, and if things aren't looking great, I'll reach out to discuss rescheduling. My goal is to capture your session in the best conditions possible—without unnecessary stress.
Are the travel expenses included in your packages?
Travel is included for most locations within about 45 minutes of Kyle. For longer drives, a small travel fee may apply. I'll always discuss any additional fees before booking.
Do I pay for the venue or parking?
Most of my favorite locations are free, and I'm happy to recommend plenty of beautiful options. If a location requires a photography fee, studio rental, or paid parking, I'll always discuss those costs with you ahead of time so there are no surprises.
When will I receive my photos?
You’ll receive a proofing gallery within 1–2 weeks of your session. Once you make your selections, your final edited gallery is delivered within another 1–2 weeks. I aim to deliver everything as quickly as possible—usually within a week—but during busy seasons like Spring and Fall, it can sometimes take the full window. My goal is always to get your memories back to you beautifully edited and ready to enjoy!

Can't wait to share your images? An expedited editing option is available for an additional $50. Your gallery will be moved to the front of my editing queue and delivered sooner (as long as favorites are selected promptly).
