Lifestyle Newborn Sessions

No spotless house required.

Newborn sessions don't require a spotless home or a perfectly scheduled baby. We'll take breaks for feedings, diaper changes, and cuddles as needed. My goal is simple: create beautiful images while keeping the experience relaxed and stress-free.

FAQ

When should I schedule our newborn session?

Lifestyle newborn sessions are typically photographed within the first 2–3 weeks, but there is no rush. Some families prefer those sleepy early days, while others wait until baby is a little older. I recommend booking during pregnancy to reserve space on my calendar, and we'll finalize the exact date once your little one arrives.

 

MY HOUSE ISN'T PERFECT. IS THAT OK?

Absolutely! Your home doesn't need to look like a magazine. I look for the best natural light and simple spaces, and I can easily move a few items if needed. The focus is on your family and connection rather than perfectly decorated rooms.


A few popular rooms for newborn sessions are the nursery, the master bedroom, and/or the living room.

How long will my session last?

 

Most lifestyle newborn sessions last about 1–1.5 hours. I allow plenty of time for feeding breaks, diaper changes, and soothing so that everyone can relax and enjoy the experience.

Can siblings and pets be included?

 

Absolutely! Lifestyle newborn sessions focus on the whole family, and siblings and furry family members are always welcome.

 

What if I don't want the session at my house?

 

Absolutely! I have several favorite studios in Kyle, Austin, and New Braunfels that offer beautiful natural light and a cozy, neutral setting. Studio rental fees are paid separately and are approximately:

Kyle

• 1 hour – $65

• 2 hours – $125

Austin

• 1 hour – $75

• 1.5 hours – $115

New Braunfels

• 1 hour – $70

• 2 hours – $135

 

I'M EXHAUSTED AND DON'T FEEL MY BEST. WILL YOU HELP?

 

Of course. The newborn days are beautiful, but they're also exhausting. I'll guide you every step of the way and keep things relaxed and simple. You don't need to "have it all together" to deserve beautiful photos with your baby.

When will I receive my photos?

 

You’ll receive a proofing gallery within 1–2 weeks of your session. Once you make your selections, your final edited gallery is delivered within another 1–2 weeks. I aim to deliver everything as quickly as possible—usually within a week—but during busy seasons like Spring and Fall, it can sometimes take the full window. My goal is always to get your memories back to you beautifully edited and ready to enjoy!

Can't wait to share your images? An expedited editing option is available for an additional $50. Your gallery will be moved to the front of my editing queue and delivered sooner (as long as favorites are selected promptly).
